About Us
Our PTO Founders: Jaime Champ (left) and Michelle McGaughy (right) + Mr. duff (our Principal)
We, Jaime and Michelle, met back when our kids were in Kindergarten, 8+ years ago! We are a dynamic duo who balance each other with tasks that we complete together. We come to you with tons of hours of experience helping in classrooms as well as expertise in running a business, management, creative projects, prior board members together, fundraising, creative thinking, and we love to make big things happen! We would love to build a great team so please join us!
Our history
This is the inaugural year for Tenaya's PTO and we couldn't be more excited! We anticipate & plan for so much greatness to come! We have already had meetings with Mr. Duff discussing ideas for the school year, fundraising ideas, targeted expenses, and even the anticipation of bringing back the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony! The sky is the limit and we are ready to roll!
Our mission
To enhance the educational experience for students while captivating teachers/staff so that everyone wins! We have endless possibilities of greatness to bring to Tenaya starting with student incentives, fundraising for needed equipment/activities/supplies/etc., adult mentoring, improved educational skills, increased attendance, student hygiene assistance, and so much more!
